Dr. John Walsh and Dr. Christopher Mazoue attended the 2011 NCAA College World Series Baseball Championships in Omaha, Nebraska. This was the second trip for Dr. Mazoue and the first for Dr. Walsh. They were both attending the series as team physicians for the South Carolina Baseball Team.
Dr. Walsh is the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine and specializes in the hand and upper extremity injuries. He provides care to all USC athletes that require specialized care of the hand, wrist and fingers.
Dr. Mazoue, associate professor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, is board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine injuries. He is the primary team physician for South Carolina Baseball, Men’s Basketball, Men’s Soccer, and the USC Track teams.
